Iatro Offsite Analysis

Iatro has developed a number of services which have been custom-designed to take advantage of the cost savings of performing services off-site. These services may be performed independently or in conjunction with other services performed on-site. The following services are just some of the services that we have developed:

Charge Ticket/Superbill/Encounter Form Evaluation A review of the current charge tickets/superbills/encounter forms used by your group will be conducted. Recommendations will focus on current formatting, accuracy of codes and/or descriptions assigned. Additional codes and modifiers which should be reflected on your document will be recommended. This project will include interviews with the encounter form users to receive input of perceived strengths and weaknesses. A report detailing findings and recommendation will follow.

Billing System Dictionary Review Similar to a review of your charge ticket this service will review the formatting, and accuracy of codes and/or descriptions identified in your billing system dictionaries. Additions, deletions and revisions will be forwarded to your organization in the format of your choice. Iatro consultants have extensive experience working with a variety of billing systems including the IDX and SMS billing systems.

Pricing Strategies A review of your current fee structure and allowed reimbursement levels reflected in explanation of benefits is performed. By utilizing specialty specific charging information specific to your geographic area and relative value scales, a pricing strategy is developed. This strategy incorporates market sensitivity and relativity of fees among similar services. A customized spreadsheet reflecting all services typically performed by your specialtie(s) will be developed. An associated analysis will be performed comparing fees and measuring the impact of implementation on your practice.

Comparative Utilization Reports This analysis compares your practice's current utilization patterns to national productivity data, helping to identify possible areas of overcoded, undercoded or incorrectly coded services. Additionally, areas of noncompliance which may expose a client to risk of potential audit may also be revealed.
