Reimbursement Operational Effectiveness Review (POER)* Involves a thorough evaluation of your coding and reimbursement process for operational effectiveness. Conducted through interviews with medical, administrative and billing staff. Additionally, other information that has been developed through other reviews provided (ie. ORDCARR or ORTDCR) may be incorporated into this analysis. Any recommended revisions are carefully designed to increase your practice's efficiency and maximize operational effectiveness.

Onsite, Retrospective Documentation Coding and Reimbursement Review (ORDCRR)* Examines all or part of the coding and reimbursement process. A retrospective review of patient and financial records will examine the coding and reimbursement process from the point of patient contact through to the final resolution of the invoice. Depending upon your specific needs a complete, random or specific, focused review may be conducted.

Onsite, Real-time Documentation and Coding Review (ORTDCR)* Ensures congruity between what was actually done with the patient and what was documented and ultimately coded for with the visit. Our clinical skills will allow us to "shadow" your providers unobtrusively and provide consultation when appropriate. Recognizing that different providers have different styles and manners of practice, our level and method of attendance is completely flexible and is determined your individual providers prior to commencement of the engagement.

*Detailed Report Accompanying each of our reviews is a detailed report outlining areas where reimbursement could be optimized and/or where noncompliance with Medicare and other payers exists. This report will discuss the findings, recommend appropriate action and assess the impact the findings are having on your practice. Included in this report is an implementation plan and supplemental reference material to be used for implementation purposes.
